College, and Restaurant City! :)

enrollment will be on June 1 and ahya just enrolled this morning. He's gonna be taking up LTS, and his PE is Table tennis (and my mind screamed: the prof there curses!*), but knowing what his PE was gives me a problem with PE schedules to choose. I hope there is still room for even handbell... Please! :) I also plan to have my Pe class during Fridays, so that it will be for my advantage. 9am PE's please!**

On the other hand, its official! The class schedule i posted before is FINAL! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! Yeah it sucks, especially the fact that i have night classes. Oh boo to that! Will make another one by June with the PE.

On the other side, where i freely choose to forget about school, another thing pops up into my mind. We will be having a inter-Sunday School competition by which we will have to compete with other students in different classes. I'm kinda nervous and I have decided to start studying seriously only this afternoon but then the problem is that i'm still lazy to a certain point. Tomorrow, I will definitely study! :D

Lastly there is Restaurant city, a small App that has taken the whole Facebook community by storm. lots of pics here! yey! anyway, yeah since the April post, I have been hooked with Restaurant city and to be honest, i dont know how i got hooked, someone just forced me to play and now, wheeee!!! I'm nearing level 22! :D Go me Go me! :D The gameplay is like sims, you have to take care of your employees for them to work at their best. Then you have to upgrade your ingredients so that earning GP (gourmet points) will be easier and faster. You can also change the decorations to make the restaurant that can match your personality.

Okay so i think I'll stop here for now. Nytie and Tata! :D
----------------------------------
*as to what some people have told me
**since classes start at 2pm and there is no use going home after PE (mom doesn't want me to spend money going back and forth to school -oh well)

Summer once again. :)

How is summer for this Psych major. Well its okay up to a certain degree. For one, my summer is super meorable due to four events. One is the DVBS, second is theYSC, third is the family conference and 4th is shobe's baptism. =) Each time, i get to enjoy the blessings of God throughout summer. The mere fact that i dont have any academic problems with my grades is very uplifting, yet one thing remains a pest in my life: CLEARANCE! ugh! i still cant understand how i should get my clearance. UGH!!! I still have to call the school and ask for how i should get it. I just have to get my clearance or else i could not enroll in my second year. And also i have seen a possible schedule of my second year which is pure terror!!!

during mwf, my classes are from 2pm-7pm. uh oh! and my tth classes are from 7-4pm ugh!!!! :O

looking on the brighter side, i dont have to wake up early during second year!!! WAHAHAHA!!! =)

I'll update more next time :) I'm getting lazy again :P

my first blog entry for 2009 :)

This is going to be my first blog entry for this year. Whew! maintaining so many social networks could be tiring. HAHA!! :) Anyways, since its been a while I decided to do a school update. YSC update will be posted sometime in a couple of days later. :)

-SCHOOL-
so about school. like in my previous posts, I am a psych major studying in the Pontifical, Royal Catholic University of Santo Tomas. Whew! that's a long name for a school which is nicknamed uste.

OH WELL! :)

School is over and I am enjoying a well deserved break! :)) and I can say that I am really happy with how my school year ended. for now at least i can still say that I am still a Thomasian. Grades were released last week during camp and it was weird, I didnt feel scared when i was looking at it and guess what?! :D

I PASSED!!!!! :) :) :)

Yes, i passed my second sem with good grades and I dont need to bother myself for summer classes at all! :D Whooo hooo!!! :)

Now that i have an assurance of a school-free summer, now i can focus my mind into more important things like: studying my past lessons (since almost every psych subject is a pre-requisite of what we are learning), learning a new hobby and even visiting some of my classmates who have summer :)) HAHA!!!! :D

Also, I saw my curiculum for second year first sem. And Whoooo i do have a lot more subjects this coming school year when I will no longer be a freshie but a sophomore! :D Whooohoooo!!! College rocks! :D

I'm kinda scared for it but then i just have to trust God in this, and do my best in school.

Question is: which is better? CWTS? or LTS?
what PE should i take? handball? korfball? swimming?! soc dance?!?!?!?!

?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'll do an update next time about that haha! :)

the first in the history of UST :D

Psychology students meets Corregidor!

It was something that most of us never expected. I mean some even went there without bringing anything but the cellphone and some money. We  boarded the ship by around 10:30 and we arrived there by noon. Then we had lunch and after lunch we strolled around obviously enjoying the strong winds.

We then rode a tram going around the island and we ventured into the dark tunnels that were used during World war 2, climbed up the light house, hiked around and of course took hundreds or thousands of pictures. We also had a walking tour at the Malinta cave and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Then it began:

We boarded the tram to listen to what the tour guide has to say. He said that we won an overnight stay at the island. Many if not everyone thought that he was joking. But then he became serious and then we realized that he was not kidding that we will be spending the night at the island.
When we came at the place where we ate our lunch, our profs ushered us in and arranged us by section. We were there waiting confused and worried.  Then it was explained to us that the authorities did not allow the ferry to go back and pick us up due to the strong waves. The group before ours was stranded on a nearby island so we have to stay whether we like it or not. Some are shocked, others started to cry while others, rushed outside to get a signal for them to contact their parents.
I was one who rushed out to attempt to contact my parents asap. Well I managed to send them a couple to text messages telling them about what happened. they tried to call which was no use since majority of the students are trying to contact their parents *agawan ng signal.* then the presidents of each class went to get the keys and the room assignments. while we waited there were a few problems:
  1. no extra underwear! I mean we didnt expect this
  2. everything at the hotel is too expensive!
  3. no toothbrush!
  4. no cellphone charger! T_T kailangan tipid todo sa battery ng phone
  5. no slippers
Luckily, i have an extra shirt with me... :))
we had dinner
I called achi helen :))
then we went to our room... it was way too small and 6 of us are cramped inside
but we managed :))
then we had thought for a long time wether we should take a bath or not
we eventually did
then a "creepy" experience...
*yiick!
then i went to the bed with my phone, mp3, and book
then after a while hannah came in
asking about the creepy experience
*yiiick!
then after a while I finally slept.
woke a couple of times as my roomies have told me
woke up finally at 3:59 am *seryoso!
then I could no longer go back to sleep
went around the hotel and saw some already awake
then went back and forth around
had breakfast at around 6 am
went outside to see the view
my parents called me
then went back to the hotel to prepare stuff.
then left for manila at around 8

then we came back to manila before 10. :)
this is the first that a group of students got stranded at Corregidor Island. wheeee.... :))

we survived! :D

Friends and Enemies

Hello once again and it's already the merry month of December! Too bad that it doesn't snow here in the Philippines. But its okay, soon I will be encountering snow.   Now, I am still doing my human development assignment but I can't seem to concentrate easily which is bad! But I'm almost halfway done with the assignment then I can start doing the Phil hist assignment. If I wanna pass, I will do my best from now on . And I have a band of onion heads to cheer me on!

See?!
They are my cutest friends ever!

speaking of friends...
School has been normal, but it's becoming a rocky one due to the battles of unity and friendship at class. One party claims that the other was wrong of accusing him to be absent and caused her place in the team. And the other party claims that she has no ill intention and defended herself. And the first party claims that they are COOL and she is CHEAP.

Sheesh! wont the two groups see their wrong. The wrong in the first group is the fact that they feel superior and that they are cool. How so? By ruining the lives of others? WRONG! ?That is the "COOL" by the world's standards! And the other party was wrong by not clearing it up as early. In my own perspective, I find the first group with a greater wrong. Because in the first place, there is the feeling of superiority. First of all we are all humans and that we all make mistakes. I make a mistake, so I just move on and be a better person and learn from my mistakes.

Shocks! I dont wanna get myself involved but I'm sounding as if I'm already involved! creepy!

Tata! Will blog sometime tomorrow or Friday. hehe
